- About the Global Education Support Program
This is a six-month program that offers students free subscriptions to Nikkei Asia. The program is supported by multiple corporate sponsors.
- Sending email to students
During the program, Nikkei Asia will send marketing email to participants. The content of each email will encourage use of Nikkei Asia and include notifications from corporate sponsors. Names of the sponsors may appear in the emails, all of which will be sent by Nikkei Inc. You will not receive email directly from sponsors.
- Information disclosure to sponsoring companies
Nikkei Asia will inform corporate sponsors of the program start date. We will disclose only the names of the educational institutions and the number of emails sent to students at each institution. Nikkei Asia will not give sponsors access to students’ personal information, including email addresses and names.
- Invitations for paid subscriptions
Nikkei Asia may invite program participants to sign up for paid subscriptions toward the end of the program. Free subscriptions provided by this program will not be automatically switched to paid accounts after the six-month trial.
